Enchanting
Enchanting can be a great trade skill to learn to enhance not only your own items, but items for others. This is often a great gold making profession. However, the cost to level this tradeskill is not cheap. Prepare to drop some gold to get up to a respectable skill level before making any profit.
Apprentice Enchanting (Skill 1 - 75)
Start off by making a Runed Copper Rod. You will need a copper rod, 1 x strange dust and 1 x lesser magic essence.
Next, you will need approximately 75 strange dust to Enchant Bracer: Minor Health. This should get you to level 75.
Journeyman Enchanting (Skill 76 - 125)
From 75-85, you will need 10 lesser magic essences and 10 strange dust. Enchant 10 x Enchant Bracer - Minor Deflection.
Next, 86-105, you will need 60 strange dust to enchant 20 x Enchant Bracer - Minor Stamina. At this point, you will need to make a Runed Silver Rod to continue. You will need 6 strange dust, 1 silver rod, 6 greater magic essence and 1 shadowgem.
From 106 to 120, Enchant Bracer - Minor Agility 15 times. You will need 30 strange dust and 15 greater magic essence.
From 121-125, you will need 10 strange dust and 5 lesser astral essence to Enchant Shield - Minor Stamina 5 times.
Expert Enchanting (Skill 126-180)
From 126-130, you will need 10 strange dust and 5 lesser astral essence to Enchant Shield - Minor Stamina 5 more times.
From 131-160, you will need 60 soul dust to Enchant Bracer - Lesser Stamina 30 times. You will need to make a runed gold rod at this point. It requires 2 soul dust, 1 golden rod, 1 iridescent pearl and 2 greater astral essences.
From 161-165, you will need 5 soul dust and 5 lesser mystic essences to Enchant Shield - Lesser Stamina 5 times.
From 166-180, you will need 15 lesser mystic essences to Enchant Bracer - Spirit 15 times.
From 181-205, you will need 25 vision dust to Enchant Bracer - Strength 25 times. At this point, you will need to make a Runed Truesilver Rod. You will need 2 vision dust, 1 truesilver rod, 1 black pearl and 2 greater mystic essences.
From 206-225 you will need 60 vision dust to Enchant Cloak - Greater Defense 20 times.
At this point, you should train Artisan Enchanting in Shattrath - Scryers area or head to Uldaman. Shattrath is much easier in my opinion. Have a mage open a portal for you there.
Artisan Enchanting (Skill 226-290)
From 226-235, Enchant Gloves - Agility 10 times. You will need 10 lesser nether essences and 10 vision dust.
From 236-245, Enchant Chest - Superior Health 10 times. You will need 60 vision dust.
From 246-265, Enchant Bracer - Greater Strength 20 times. You will need 40 dream dust and 20 greater nether essences.
From 266-290, Enchant Shield - Greater Stamina 25 times. You will need 250 dream dust. You will need to create the next rod to continue on. To make a Runed Arcanite Rod, you will need an arcanite rod, golden pearl, 10 illusion dust, 4 great eternal essences, 4 small brilliant shards and 2 large brilliant shards.
From 291-300, Enchant Cloak - Superior Defense will require 80 illusion dust. You will make 10 of these.
Now, it is time to learn Master Enchanting (Skill 300-375)
Grand Master Enchanting can be learned at several places. For the Alliance, seek Johan Barnes at Honor Hold. For the Horde, seek Felannia at Thrallmar.
High Enchanter Bardolan on the Scryer Tier in Shattrath is happy to help anyone who chose to ally themselves with the Scryers; and Asarnan at Stormspire in Netherstorm will aid anyone who comes to talk with him.
Let's move on to the grind.
300-301, make a runed fel iron rod. This requires 4 greater eternal essences and 6 large brilliant shards.
301-310, Enchant Chest - Restore Mana Prime 9 times. This will require 18 arcane dust and 18 lesser planar essences.
310-320, Enchant Gloves - Assault 10 times. This will require 80 arcane dust.
320-330, Enchant Chest - Major Spirit 10 times. This will require 20 greater planar essences.
330-340, Enchant Shield - Intellect 10 times. This will require 40 greater planar essences. The recipe can be found in the Old Hillsbrad instance from the Aged Dalaran Wizard. He walks the roads in the zone and can be done solo.
340-350, Enchant Gloves - Major Strength 10 times. This requires 120 arcane dust and 10 greater planar essences.
Now, it is time to learn Grand Master Enchanting (Skill 350-450)
350-351, Time for the next rod, the runed adamantite rod. You will need 8 greater planar essences, 8 large prismatic shards and 1 primal might.
351-360, Enchant Cloak - Speed 9 times. This will require 54 Infinite Dust.
360-375, Enchant Bracers - Striking 18 times. This will require 108 Infinite Dust.
375-376, Runed Eternium Rod - 1 time. This requires 1 Eternium Rod, 6 Greater Planar Essences, 6 Arcane Dust and your Runed Adamantite Rod.
376-380, Enchant Bracers - Striking 6 more times. This will require 36 Infinite Dust.
380-385, Enchant Bracers - Exceptional Intellect 5 times. This will require 50 Infinite Dust.
385-395, Enchant Boots - Icewalker 10 times. This will require 80 Infinite Dust and 10 Crystallized Waters
395-415, Enchant Cloak - Superior Agility 23 times. This will require 207 Infinite Dust.
415-420, Enchant Boots - Greater Spirit 5 times. This will require 60 Infinite Dust and 25 Greater Cosmic Essences.
420-425, Enchant Boots - Superior Agility 5 times. This will require 80 Infinite Dust and 30 Greater Cosmic Essences.
425-426, make 1 Runed Titanium Rod. This will require a Titanium Rod, 40 Infinite Dust, 12 Greater Cosmic Essences, 8 Dream Shards and your Runed Eternium Rod.
426-430, Enchant Cloak - Major Agility 4 times. This will require 72 Infinite Dust, 24 Greater Cosmic Essences and 8 Dream Shards.
430-435, Enchant Gloves - Crusher 5 times. This will require 110 Infinite Dust, 45 Greater Cosmic Essences and 5 Dream Shards.
435-450, Enchant Gloves - Armsman 15 times. This will require 30 Dream Shards, 30 Eternal Air and 30 Eternal Earth.
